HexBug Micro Robotic Creatures

HexBug Micro Robotic Creatures

Hexbug is a six-legged toy robot, i.e. a true robot intended just for amusement. Hexbug has a few simple behaviors. Once switched on, hexbug will move forward with a classic alternating tripod gait. If an obstruction touches either of the antennae, or if it detects a loud sound it will back up to the left and then continue forward.

HexBug comes in 5 basic colors, which includes Delta (black), Charlie (blue transparent), Bravo (green transparent), Alpha (yellowish), Echo (red transparent like).

Product is manufactured in China and ship else where for labeling purposes.

Requires 2 batteries which seems to be your regular watch batteries.   It does not say how long a new set of batteries would last on continues use or continues operation.

The body or the plastic does not look very robust at all, it is a bit fragile. It might break when drop from a table top.
